JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable
A warm breeze off the Seto Inland Sea carries the scent of grilled squid, and in the sleepy town of Morioh, the most dangerous object on earth has just been sold at a rummage sale for forty yen. The Bow and Arrow — a relic that unlocks Stand powers in anyone it pierces — is loose among the suburbs. Josuke Higashikata, a pompadoured high school freshman with a heart of gold and a Stand called Crazy Diamond that can repair anything it punches, does not want to save the world. He wants to finish his biology homework and survive the embarrassment of having his hair insulted. But when the Bow starts turning ordinary citizens into Stand-wielding killers, Morioh's quiet streets transform into a hunting ground.
The arrows are multiplying. Stand users are awakening at random — a bullied kid with a toy army that actually slaughters, a rat with a sniper's instinct, a novelist who turns paper into bombs. The source of the chaos is a dead man named Yoshikage Kira, a serial killer whose Stand, Killer Queen, erases every trace of his murders. Kira does not want power or territory. He wants a perfectly quiet life, and he has been taking women's hands home with him for fifteen years without anyone noticing. Now, after a terrible accident involving a sandwich bag, his identity has finally slipped. Josuke, his best friend Okuyasu and his Stand The Hand that scrapes away space, the proud mangaka Rohan Kishibe, and an absurd rotating cast of local Stand users must find Kira before he disappears into a new face. But Kira's Stand has a second ability — Bites the Dust — and the moment anyone learns his name, time loops back and they die before they can tell anyone. The hunt for a ghost in a town that no longer remembers yesterday's victims has just begun.
